Technical Support Representative
Location: Kingston, ON, Canada
Description:
Technical Support Representatives are responsible for answering all front-line technical support calls and e-mails. This includes gathering technical specifications from the client and logging them into the technical support repository.
At all times it is imperative that daily activities are integrated with a process oriented approach for reproducible and consistent results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Taking front line technical support calls from customers
- Answering e-mail inquiries (technical support related and others)
- Managing imaging device model research, and inputting new model records in the PrintFleet Central Model Repository
- Generating and distributing required information for prospective customers to access trial accounts
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for trial accounts
- Deactivating and removing trial accounts when trials are complete
- Logging valid, new support cases in the CRM repository
- Sending daily overall PrintFleet Case/Account status report
- Occasionally attending conference calls regarding customer inquiries that may be scheduled during non-business hours
- Distributing customer support materials to clients, including new user guides, technical documentation, requirements documents, etc.
Qualifications:
Equivalent to completion of two years of college level coursework in computer science, information technology or a related field, and two years of general computer installation, maintenance and repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
Knowledge of:
- Protocols: TCP/IP, SNMP, DOS
- Operating Systems: Windows XP/Server 2003/Vista/Virtual Machines
- Server Software: MS Exchange, FTP Server utilities, Microsoft IIS 6.0
- Network Architecture: Remote Connectivity (VLAN, VPN, RDP, VNC), Routers, Switches
- Network Security: Firewalls (ISA, NetGear, Sonic, Windows), Proxy Servers (ISA, Squid, BlueCoat), Web Filtering
- Client Server Technologies
- Software Deployment Technologies (SMS)
Preference will be given to applicants who also have the following qualifications:
- Software coding, including:
- Relational Databases (SQL Server 2000/SQL Server 2005)
- Web Development (HTML/ASP/AJAX/PHP/MS .Net/Java)
- Knowledge of development lifecycles
- Experience with laser printers, copiers, and other imaging devices

Sales Representative
Location: Kingston, ON, Canada
Description:
Sales Representatives are responsible for supporting the sales initiatives of the Business Development Team as well as offer support to our distribution partners. In addition they are responsible for delivering a sales quota for small channel partners across Canada and the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with handoff of leads between Marketing and Sales
- Manage and sell to small–medium sized dealers
- Support sales initiatives of distribution partners
- Maintain quarterly sales quota
- Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations
- Uncover new leads and assign leads to appropriate reps based on territories
- Liaise with Marketing regarding any outstanding initiatives such as Sales Tools creation, etc.
- Make 20 calls per day to new dealers
- Manage and track your sales pipeline and report activity on a weekly basis
- Ad hoc requests such as creating and updating territory maps, phone lists, etc.
- Create/manage/update the weekly sales forecast spreadsheets
- Main point of contact for Sales reps who are traveling
- Some travel required
Qualifications:
- Reliable, organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Minimum 3 years sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service experience
- Flexible, optimistic attitude and team oriented
- Post Secondary Education (College Diploma or University Degree)
