PrintFleet Announces New Software Enhancements

Ontario, Canada – PrintFleet Inc., an industry leading print management and assessment software vendor, recently announced significant enhancements to their flagship software, PrintFleet Optimizer.
Launched in May 2003, PrintFleet Optimizer is a remote print management software designed to continuously monitor networked printing device fleets. By installing a Windows® application on a single desktop computer, dealers gain access to their customer's comprehensive printing device information 24 hours a day, through the PrintFleet secure web portal. As an automated solution with advanced print management functionality, PrintFleet Optimizer allows dealers to receive alerts, view device detail reports, automatically collect meter readings, monitor supplies levels, schedule maintenance, and view historical trending on a printing fleet. PrintFleet is currently monitoring over 8,000 printing devices for its dealers using the PrintFleet Optimizer software.
Enhancements to PrintFleet Optimizer include an easy to navigate Device Detail screen, which features a new Meter Reads layout that separates page counts by copy/print/fax and monochrome/color. The Cost per Copy Assignment area (of the software) is now armed with a new, easier to use interface and supports up to 4 decimal places for assigning per page costs.
The cost detail views such as Financial, Detail and Total Cost of Ownership, are also formatted to support cost values up to 4 decimal places. This makes billing, reporting and overall cost tracking increasingly accurate for dealers who are using PrintFleet Optimizer to track CPC programs at their customer sites.
The PrintFleet Optimizer Volume Report, under the Asset Report section of the software, now has the ability to separate volume of pages by copy/fax/print and monochrome/color. This is a valuable feature for accurately tracking meter reads from previous months.

PrintFleet Optimizer architecture is based on industry standardized software such as Microsoft® SQL Server, Windows® 2003 Server and Microsoft® .NET Framework. This offers simple integration capabilities into the back office billing and service systems at the dealer site.
