OSN selects PrintFleet remote fleet management system

The Netherlands, Nieuwegein—OSN, a leading supplier of document output systems and IT solutions, has chosen PrintFleet's Enterprise software for the remote monitoring and management of copiers, MFP's and printers of their customers.
With the new service OSN fulfills a rapidly growing demand of its customers to better manage the cost of document output. The PrintFleet system automatically collects and processes meter reads, eliminating the time consuming and costly manual processes associated with traditional methods using reply cards, e-mail, fax, phone, and manual website entries. In addition to meter reads, the PrintFleet system also remotely reads supplies levels and device status which enables OSN to provide a more pro-active service to its customers. As a result OSN customers experience higher machine up-time and increased employee productivity.
The PrintFleet system uses intelligent data collection agent software. This DCA is installed and configured at OSN customers in less than 10 minutes, without the need to change the customer's network configuration. At regular intervals data is automatically collected of all networked printing and copying devices and then automatically transmitted via a secure Internet connection to the PrintFleet Enterprise portal at OSN. The PrintFleet system is brand neutral and supports OSN's product lines of Canon, Lexmark and HP, as well as printers, copiers and MFP's of all other brands.
