PrintFleet Announces Significant Software Enhancements

Ontario, Canada—PrintFleet Inc., a global leader in managed print software and supporting professional development services, has announced technology enhancements to its managed print service software application programs that benefit their growing network of over 800 dealer customers world wide.
Among the host of technology and feature enhancements, key elements include the release of PrintFleet Enterprise 2.1. PrintFleet Enterprise 2.1 database architecture includes advanced meter and supply integration into the Digital Gateway e-automate system which enables automated, web service driven, device model matchup between a dealership's PrintFleet system and their e-automate billing system. This device model mapping is automated by PrintFleet's Export Engine and is a result of PrintFleet expanding their model database to include over 17,000 unique device model records.

Other enhancements within PrintFleet Enterprise 2.1 include fleet wide supplies inventory management including order fulfillment into ERP systems, and additional data metrics including new reports detailing energy consumption and cost calculations show clients the amount of energy wasted by keeping older, inefficient devices on their network. Upgrades to PrintFleet Enterprise 2.1 will commence the week of March 23rd.
PrintFleet is also planning a new release of their Data Collector Agent (DCA) this coming April. DCA 4.0 adds a technology called Service BRIDGE, which enables enhanced remote diagnostic capabilities by allowing a service technician to establish a private, secure connection directly to a device, thus facilitating true remote management of print devices. Remote firmware upgrades will also be a new feature available within DCA 4.0.
