PrintFleet Local Beacon
PrintFleet Local Beacon is an add-on for PrintFleet print management applications that allows you to track basic information for locally connected printing devices.

How it works
Local Beacon is installed on each computer connected to a local printing device that you want to track. Once installed, your PrintFleet Enterprise Data Collector Agent and PrintFleet Suite PRO will collect data from each installation of Local Beacon—simply add the IP addresses of the computers installed to your network scan range.

Features
- Capture basic local device data
Capture the device description, serial number, total page count, asset number, location, and department for each device. Page counts are tracked via the computer’s print spooler. - Push install on large networks
Network administrators have the ability to push install Local Beacon to several computers at once. Push installations will track device description and total page count only by default. - Free to use
Local Beacon is 100% free add-on application for use with PrintFleet Enterprise and PrintFleet Suite PRO.
System Requirements
- Download and install Local Beacon on each network connected host PC.
- Microsoft® .NET Framework must be installed on the host PC. It is free to install from Microsoft®.
- Windows® XP/2000 operating system
