West McDonald
Senior Training Specialist

West McDonald is PrintFleet's Senior Training Specialist, and has been happy to work within their umbrella since the first days of the company's commercial endeavors. West has over 12 years experience in business technology sales that dates back to the very earliest years of the commercial internet. A seasoned speaker and respected corporate trainer in the field, he has always stayed on top of the most current innovations in business technology and enjoys sharing that knowledge with PrintFleet's many partners and customers.

Initial Consultation

Prior to training, you will have a consultation call with your designated trainer to make sure you have the necessary components in place:

  • A print management market strategy (cost per page, hardware leasing, bundled service, etc.)
  • A compensation plan that aligns sales, customer, and corporate objectives
  • A contract ready for customers to sign

Onsite Training

During two days of onsite training, your sales team will learn:

  • The value of an all-inclusive program
  • How to unearth opportunities in current and new customer accounts
  • How to work with and talk to IT staff
  • How to present the value proposition to key executives
  • How to perform ongoing assessments as a print consultant
  • How to create appropriate short term and long term goals
  • How to effectively use and demonstrate PrintFleet software
  • How to use your custom branded marketing material
  • Strategies for getting Data Collector Agents installed at client sites

After your onsite sales training is complete, your trainer will conduct two follow up calls with you to answer any additional questions, and ensure your sales team's working knowledge of the software.
